What they need
Description
Sanmina Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM) is a global powerhouse in integrated manufacturing solutions, serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market. We provide the end-to-end manufacturing backbone for the world’s most essential and innovative brands—redefining standards across autonomous vehicles, medical technology, next-gen aerospace, and AI/cloud infrastructure.
At Sanmina Newark, we don’t just build—we power the global chip race. Our Newark facility is a center of excellence for large-format machining and complex electro-mechanical integration. We partner with the world’s leading semiconductor capital equipment OEMs to build the critical physical tools that make AI, EV, and 5G technologies possible.
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-octane Senior Program Manager to serve as the executive relationship owner and operational leader for our premier semiconductor accounts. In this role, you will bridge multi-million dollar engineering designs and physical manufacturing execution, managing site performance, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Customer Management
- Executive Liaison: Serve as the primary site interface for key semiconductor OEM customers, managing client relationships and driving long-term account growth.
- Contract Compliance: Manage customer agreements and contract terms, ensuring operational execution aligns with business terms and protects company interests.
Financial & Operational Performance
- Revenue & Margins: Drive site revenue targets, improve profitability, and resolve business issues, including A/R, Purchase Price Variance (uPPV), Credit, and Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory mitigation.
- KPI Optimization: Track and optimize site operational metrics (inventory turns, delivery performance, PPV, revenue) and customer satisfaction scores (Quality, On-Time Delivery, Price Performance).
- Demand & Capacity Planning: Analyze forecasting trends, manage order backlogs, and align factory capacity with customer priorities to eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks.
Lifecycle & Leadership
- Program Lifecycle Management: Oversee programs across the entire lifecycle—from New Product Introduction (NPI) through volume production and End of Life (EOL)—in close coordination with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish best-in-class program management practices, proactively managing project timelines, risks, and resource allocation.
- Team Mentorship: Provide guidance, leadership, and professional development support to junior Program Managers and Program Administrators.
What You'll Bring
- Industry Experience: 8+ years of Program Management experience, ideally within Contract Manufacturing (machining/integration) or the Semiconductor Capital Equipment industry.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline. PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma belt is strongly preferred.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrix environment, pivot priorities rapidly, and align multi-tiered organizations.
- Data & Business Fluency: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis to track KPIs, analyze margins, and report delivery metrics effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually (offered pay reflects skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
- Comprehensive Benefits:
- Comprehensive medical and dental coverage.
- Retirement savings plan.
- Educational reimbursement for career advancement coursework, including tuition assistance.
- Potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commissions, or relocation assistance.

- Equal Opportunity Employer: Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind. All employment decisions are based on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.
