Senior Programmer

Job Overview:

Translarity USA is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in gathering, interpreting, and visualizing data from multiple systems, creating insightful dashboards and reports, and ensuring our data processes are efficient and secure. The ideal candidate will have strong database management skills and will be comfortable working with a variety of platforms, including Netsuite, Prodsmart, and Quality Control by Design (QCBD). Scripting knowledge is also beneficial to help optimize processes and automate repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Analysis:

• Gather data from multiple sources and make sense of it by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Analyze complex datasets to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

1. Dashboard and Report Creation:

• Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights to key stakeholders.
• Use visualization tools and techniques to ensure data is easily accessible and actionable.

1. Database Management:

• Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Work with various databases to support data integration and analysis.

1. System Integration and Management:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and maintain data systems such as Netsuite, Prodsmart, and QCBD.
• Ensure data consistency and compatibility across systems.

1. Scripting and Automation:

• Use scripting to automate data collection, processing, and reporting where possible.
• Develop scripts to enhance data workflows and increase efficiency.

1. Imaging and Inspection:

• Use imaging software and programming skills to identify manufacturing defects.
• Produce 3D object images and videos using X-ray CT scan images.
• Identify color patterns in an image to determine criteria for passing or failing a manufacturing object for quality control.
• Operate imaging software such that 2D or 3D printing of an object is possible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, database management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least two database management systems.
• Familiarity with ERP (Netsuite) and production systems (Prodsmart, QCBD) is a strong advantage.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Background in manufacturing, quality control, or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of data security best practices and data governance.
• Experience in image processing using programming languages.
