Senior Project Accountant

Key responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Manage WIP accounting, project costing, revenue recognition and job cost monitoring.
• Review and back-check project files and supporting documents.
• Review project contracts, Purchase Orders, Work Orders and subcontractor invoices for proper documentation, costing and billing.
• Monitor project costs, margins and cost variances.
• Prepare project profitability and margin analysis.
• Monitor project cash flow and payment schedules.
• Ensure project financial records are complete and accurate before project closure.
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as required by Management.

About you

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
• Construction or project accounting experience is an added advantage.
