We're looking for a talented Senior Project Architect / Designer to join our Los Angeles team and help lead exciting projects from concept through construction.

What You'll Do:

• Lead architectural projects from Design Development through Construction Administration.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate Construction Documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, landlords, contractors, and public agencies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and technical standards.
• Review drawings for quality control and technical accuracy.
• Support and mentor junior architects and designers.
• Present design concepts and technical solutions to clients and project teams.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple Valerio office locations.
• Participate in site visits and occasional travel as required.

What We're Looking For:

• 8–13 years of professional architectural experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Architectural license (or actively pursuing licensure) preferred.
• Strong experience producing and coordinating Construction Documents.
• Experience managing consultant coordination and project documentation.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and construction standards.
• Experience with commercial interiors, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or workplace projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other industry-standard design software.
• Available to work full-time in our Los Angeles office (Monday–Friday).

Compensation & Benefits:

In compliance with California (California Equal Pay Act, California Labor Code § 432.3) and New York (New York Labor Law § 194-a) salary transparency laws , the following salary expectation breakdown is provided for this position:

Salary Range: $80,000–$120,000 annually

Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
