Senior Project Engineer

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Salmega Builders is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead and oversee construction activities, coordinate project teams, and ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee engineering and construction activities at project sites.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Review construction plans, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Monitor project progress and prepare accomplishment reports, estimates, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to project engineers and site teams.
• Identify and resolve technical, site, and project-related issues.
• Monitor materials, manpower, equipment, and other project requirements.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Assist in managing project schedules, costs, and changes in scope.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of ongoing works.
• Represent the company in project meetings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction project engineering or a similar senior-level position.
• Previous work experience with DMCI is required.
• Ilonggo/Hiligaynon-speaking applicants are preferred.
• Applicants with relevant international construction experience are welcome to apply.
• Proven experience in handling and supervising construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, project documentation, and engineering principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD; knowledge of MS Project or similar project management software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and make sound decisions on-site.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
• Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites when necessary.
• Good to have a Driver's License.
