Senior Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the daily operations of development projects from pre-construction to completion
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely and smooth project execution
• Review and monitor project drawings, design specifications, and construction details to ensure compliance with approved plans
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly
• Track and report on project milestones, progress updates, and potential risks
• Assist in the preparation of project reports, documentation, and correspondences
• Ensure all works comply with regulatory guidelines, permits, and approvals
• Support the handover process and project close-out activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a property developer or construction firm
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, and site operations
• Familiar with local authority requirements, building regulations, and submission processes
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
• Able to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership

• Experience in residential, mixed-use, or commercial developments
• Familiarity with CIDB, BEM, and local construction-related regulatory bodies
• Possession of own transport and willingness to travel to site as required
