Senior Project Engineer – Water Infrastructure

Tallai is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major water treatment project based in Jindabyne.

This role requires a strong civil construction background, ideally gained across water, wastewater or major infrastructure projects. We are specifically looking for civil engineering experience rather than a mechanical background.

The Role

• Support the delivery of civil works across the project
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site activities
• Coordinate construction programs, procurement and project documentation
• Monitor project costs, progress, quality and safety
• Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements
• Work closely with the Project Manager, site team, client and key stakeholders
• Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues
• Support the successful delivery of the project through to completion

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
• Strong civil construction background
• Water or wastewater infrastructure experience is highly regarded
• Experience delivering concrete structures, pipelines, earthworks and associated civil works
• Strong commercial, planning and subcontractor management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
• Australian working rights
