Engineering projects work best when technical knowledge is matched with good organisation and clear communication. Atlas Solutions is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering projects from initial planning through to completion.

The role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working with different teams and keeping technical and operational requirements aligned. It offers a varied workload with responsibility for coordinating project activity and maintaining high standards throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating engineering projects from planning through to completion
• Developing project plans, schedules and technical documentation
• Working with engineering, operations and external teams to coordinate project requirements
• Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and agreed deadlines
• Reviewing technical information and supporting practical engineering solutions
• Identifying project risks, issues and potential delays and taking appropriate action
• Maintaining clear project records and providing regular progress updates
• Supporting clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of relevant project engineering experience
• Engineering background with practical understanding of project delivery
• Experience managing project schedules, documentation and priorities
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering information
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Confidence working with internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders
• Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related discipline

• £48,000 to £53,000 annual salary
