Senior Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all necessary drawings, materials, samples, and approvals are received before work execution; scrutinise drawings and prepare RFI when necessary.

• To plan and implement schedule of work through master program.

• Ordering of material, justifying through schedule, contract and quantity requirement.

• Control of material wastage by implementing best work practice.

• Inspect all project works as per requirement and close all complaints and NCR raised (if any).

• Prepare progress report / site progress photo.

• File all material testing records and control material wastage.

• Practice company right through contract and BQ, alerting on VO, claim etc.

• Attend site coordination meeting and raise site issue.

• Proposing more efficient and faster work method.

• Play role in all aspect of site improvement in safety, quality, management etc.

• Attend to authority and all visitors as and when required.

• Chasing for drawings and detailing from consultants before work start.

• Chasing for arrival of material, sample, approval etc.

• Assist Project/Site Manager in ensuring successful implementation of project.

• To undertake other duties including but not limited to other functional areas as directed by the superior from time to time.

• Implementing the project safety & health plan & all relevant legal, statutory and legislative requirement for safety & health at site.

• Identifying all potential hazards & formulating action plan to prevent injury & casualty to anyone.

• Plan sequence of work activities, coordinate access and work zones, subcontractor coordination, track daily progress and identify site constraints.

• Manage on-site M&E installation, commissioning, and supervision of M&E subcontractors.

• Ensure M&E compliance with regulations, liaise with consultants, and advise on M&E technical matters.

• Implement safety & health plan at work place and all relevant legal, statutory and legislative requirements to prevent injury & casualty.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Management/Architectural/Building Surveying/Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

• Experience in high-rise building construction.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of site engineering experience on building/infrastructure projects.

• Computer literate.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training and guidance will be provided.
