Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer leads the onshore preparation and execution governance of complex, high-risk, or multidisciplinary offshore brownfield/greenfield project within PTTEP. Acting as the end-to-end owner of assigned projects, this role oversees engineering delivery, procurement expediting, onshore prefabrication, and campaign readiness to ensure seamless handover to the offshore execution team.

Key Responsibilities

• Complex Project Ownership: Manage complex brownfield projects end-to-end from
• FEED/detailed engineering, MOC workflows, and procurement through onshore yard fabrication
• to offshore campaign readiness and operational handover.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring: Act as a team lead and technical coach; provide strategic
• direction, mentor and review work produced by Junior/Project Engineers, and foster engineering
• competencies.
• Offshore Campaign Readiness Governance: Lead rigorous campaign readiness reviews; ensure
• all engineering work packs, tie-in schedules, materials, and SIMOPS matrices are 100% complete
• and verified before offshore mobilization.
• Stakeholder & Asset Interface: Serve as the senior focal point interfacing with Asset Operations,
• Maintenance, and Marine Logistics to lock in shutdown/TAR windows, POB allocations, and tiein
• philosophies.
• Contractor & Commercial Governance: Supervise COMPANY OTHER CONTRACTOR
• performance; manage technical queries (TQs), evaluate scope changes (Management of Change -
• MOC), and negotiate variation orders (VOs).
• Offshore Team Support: Provide onshore technical back-up and rapid engineering query
• resolution to offshore Construction Supervisors during active installation campaigns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, or Instrument or related).

• Experience: Minimum 12 years of project engineering with significant experience in offshore oil & gas brownfield planning, work pack preparation, and campaign management.

• Competencies: Strong leadership, campaign readiness assurance, MOC workflows, contractor management, and fluent English communication.
