Senior Project Engineer in Electrical Products

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for managing complex OEM/ODM engineering projects from conception to commercialization, ensuring technical excellence, quality standards and timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end engineering projects for various electronic products, from initial concept development through to market launch
• Communicate with clients and internal cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and budgets whilst monitoring progress against key performance indicators
• Oversee the technical design and development process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and quality requirements
• Routinely analyze field returns and improve product cost efficiencies
• Mentor and coach junior engineering staff, fostering professional development and technical excellence within the team
• Document technical specifications, design changes and project learnings for future reference
• Guide Techworld's research path through continuous innovations

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with project management in manufacturing
• Familiar with engineering product lifecycle management
• Strong knowledge in plastic molding, electrical product design, and design for manufacturing principles
• Substantial experience in electronics quotation and rapid quotation methods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of English and Chinese
• Passionate about engineering and designing quality products
• Stationed Dongguan China
