About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Planning & Technical) to join our team. This is a contract position that offers a strategic opportunity to take on a leadership role in the planning and technical aspects of our civil and structural engineering projects. As Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project planning, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping project strategies and driving technical excellence across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update project schedules using Primavera P6.

• Prepare construction method statements, technical proposals, project execution plans and recovery schedules.

• Coordinate with the teams on project planning and technical matters.

• Attend and conduct meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

• Monitor project progress, identify issues and propose effective solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is mandatory, particularly for technical discussions and external meetings.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 .
• Able to independently prepare technical proposals, method statements and project execution plans.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in railway or large-scale infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
