Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer (Building Maintenance Works)

Job Summary

Advance Engineering (Development) Ltd. is a multi-disciplined engineering company which provides works and services to local private sector. We are seeking a personnel who can work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic and self-organized to join our team for delivering on-cost and on-time premium services to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the construction team, including coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise during the project lifecycle
• Collaborating with the wider project team to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication
• Providing regular progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders
• Responsible for tender-bidding process
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Requirement

• Degree/high diploma in Building Surveying, Building Studies or related field
• Familiar with Hong Kong’s Building Ordinance and other related regulations
• 5 years or more relevant experience in building maintenance in Hong Kong
• Experience working on the main contractor side is an advantage
• Holder of the Certificate in 43-hour Construction Safety Supervisor Course is an advantage
• Good command of both Chinese and English, both written and spoken
• Candidates should be self-motivated, can work independently, have strong problem solving and communication skills
• Candidates with more experience will be considered a more senior position
