Senior Project Engineer - (Solar project)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Solar C&I) to lead and oversee commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects from engineering design through construction and project handover. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience managing EPC or Solar PV projects and can ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs and engineering solutions for Solar PV systems based on customer requirements (TOR).
• Prepare technical specifications, equipment selection, and cost estimation for Solar PV projects.
• Coordinate contractor sourcing, evaluation, and appointment.
• Plan, manage, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Control project budgets and monitor project costs.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure work quality complies with engineering standards, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress updates.
• Review project documentation, testing, commissioning, and handover documents.
• Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, engineering standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate project handover to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team after project completion.
• Support other engineering or project-related assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar PV, Electrical Engineering, EPC, or Renewable Energy projects.
• Experience managing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Solar PV system design, electrical systems, construction management, and project execution.
• Experience in contractor management, project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Thailand.
• Knowledge of safety standards for electrical construction work.
• Professional Engineer (PE License) and/or Safety Officer Certification will be an advantage.
