SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager with a Professional Engineer (PE) qualification to lead and oversee major construction projects from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects to ensure timely, cost-effective and quality delivery.

• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, resources and manpower requirements.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, authorities and other project stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets and key milestones.
  Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements and relevant statutory regulations.

• Identify project risks, delays and potential issues, and implement appropriate corrective measures.

• Review and monitor construction methods, technical submissions, project documentation and site progress.

• Lead project teams and ensure effective coordination between site, technical, commercial and administrative functions.

• Manage project variations, claims, contractual matters and cost control in collaboration with the relevant departments.

• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health and environmental requirements.

• Provide regular project updates and reports to Senior Management / Board of Directors.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, government agencies and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) qualification is required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction/project management.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale civil engineering, infrastructure or highway projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, contract administration and cost management.
• Proficient in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within approved time, cost and quality requirements.
• Willing to travel or be stationed at project sites when required.
