Senior Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organized Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee residential and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through project completion. You will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, client communication, and coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and field teams.

Working closely with Superintendents and Lead Carpenters, you will help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely delivery of construction projects, utilizing tools such as Procore, Microsoft Office, and other project management software.
• Oversee the development of construction plans, schematics, and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, construction regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and project alignment.
• Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to mitigate risks and ensure contractual compliance.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, schedule updates, and performance evaluations; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Lead project teams by managing resources efficiently, fostering teamwork in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering excellence in construction management.

Experience

• Proven track record managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a minimum of several years in a senior or leadership role.
• Extensive experience using construction management software; proficiency with Procore is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Skilled in managing teams within a construction management environment—leading project coordination efforts while maintaining focus on budget control and schedule adherence.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels; adept at managing contracts and resolving issues proactively.

Experience

• At least 10 years of construction industry experience, including project management experience on custom residential and commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and project coordination.
• Experience managing relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and other construction management software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, OSHA requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support effective communication with field employees, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
