Senior Project Manager

About the Opportunity:
A well-established financial services organisation with a strong presence in funds management is looking for a Senior Project Manager. The business is going through a large transformation and is focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering high-quality outcomes for investors.

Why this role matters:
This Senior Project Manager is coming in to support on the delivery across operations so the business business is prepared to successfully adopt and operate new capabilities, processes and ways of working. This includes coordinating business readiness activities across people, process, training, communications, operational procedures and support models.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked on transformation programmes of work with an operational focus. 

What you'll lead & influence

• Ensure the business is successful adopting and operating to new capabilities
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and budgets, escalating and resolving issues as they arise
• Engage and manage stakeholders, including senior members of the business, to keep delivery aligned and on track
• Report progress directly to senior leadership

What you bring

• Solid experience as a Project Manager within financial services
• Track record delivering technology and process change projects, ideally including platform, workflow, or digital delivery
• Comfortable working alongside technology teams  - you don't need to be deeply technical, but you're not fazed by tech
• Strong, senior-level stakeholder management skills, the energy to build relationships fast, and the ability to hit the ground running
• Experience running delivery outside a formal, centralised structure - comfortable with autonomy and pace
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
