Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager in Tokyo to lead delivery and support across APAC, including Japan. The role combines project management, application support, and offshore/vendor coordination while working with Japan and global stakeholders to plan and deliver regional and firmwide initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery and support for APAC, including Japan.
• Manage projects while supporting applications and coordinating offshore teams and vendors.
• Work with Japan and global stakeholders to plan and deliver regional and firmwide initiatives.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• 10+ years of IT project management experience with proven delivery of large or multi-region programs.
• Technical understanding of application architectures, integrations, databases, APIs, and cloud/SaaS.
• Hands-on application support experience covering operations, incident/problem management, user support, and SLAs.
• Experience in vendor/offshore coordination across requirements, delivery, and quality assurance.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and plans.
• Native-level Japanese.
• Strong business-level English.
• Cross-cultural working experience.
• Stakeholder management experience with senior leaders and end users, including clear status reporting.
• Experience operating within corporate governance frameworks and information security controls.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate real estate/facilities domain knowledge and familiarity with related SaaS solutions and processes.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master.
• Experience working in multinational environments or APAC regional teams.
• Experience in financial services or financial institutions.
