What they need
What This Position Is
This is a senior field-leadership position for a demolition professional who came up through heavy equipment operation and progressed into superintendent or project-management responsibility. It is not an entry-level management position, and it is not a general excavation or grading operator opening. If you apply for that here, I will not look at your resume for an operator job, and I need operators too. So, look for that ad please.
Primary Responsibilities
Direct day-to-day operations across several active demolition projects throughout Georgia.
Supervise operators, foremen, laborers, subcontractors, trucking, and disposal activities.
Set production goals, monitor progress, and hold field personnel accountable for safe, timely performance.
Plan demolition sequencing, equipment selection and placement, material separation, loading, recycling, and disposal.
Oversee high-reach and conventional excavators equipped with processors, shears, grapples, thumbs, and hydraulic hammers.
Review scopes, drawings, schedules, site conditions, structural hazards, utility status, and environmental requirements before work begins.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, mobilization, maintenance, fuel, trucking, dumpsters, vendors, and subcontractors between projects.
Track labor, equipment hours, hauling, disposal, job costs, schedule status, delays, and potential change-order work.
Lead safety meetings and jobsite inspections; enforce OSHA, company, and project-specific safety requirements.
Maintain daily reports, photographs, production records, equipment records, incident documentation, and project closeout information.
Communicate professionally with SESI management, general contractors, owners, inspectors, vendors, and field personnel.
Operate demolition equipment when needed to assess conditions, train an operator, demonstrate the correct method, or keep production moving.
Pay: $80,538.89 - $94,950.05 per year
Benefits:
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Company truck
