Senior Project Manager

About the role

You will manage multiple facets of the design, coordination and construction process to ensure the works are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in line with both client and project requirements. Working alongside a Director, you will drive the delivery of multiple projects for a client-side project management company based in Whangarei, forming an integral part of the operating presence within the northern region.

• Manage competing priorities and multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders
• Keep complex workstreams moving and aligned
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders with confidence

About you

• 8 to 10 years' experience in commercial construction
• Experience in the delivery of small to medium sized civil projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent planning, documentation, and follow-up capability
• Commercial awareness – an understanding of public procurement processes is highly desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project systems
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Highly organised and confident working in a fast-paced construction environment
