Project Manager – D365 / Retail Technology

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a key technology transformation program within a large retail environment.

This is a hands-on delivery role spanning D365, Point of Sale (POS), infrastructure and data migration . You’ll work across technology and business teams, driving multiple streams of work while keeping stakeholders aligned and delivery moving.

The successful candidate will be a confident, personable Project Manager who is comfortable getting into the detail, running workshops and bringing together stakeholders from across the business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing several interconnected technology initiatives, including:

• Delivering a server refresh across the environment
• Supporting the implementation and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Managing inventory migration to the new POS platform
• Coordinating data migration activities associated with the POS transition
• Managing dependencies across infrastructure, applications, data and business teams
• Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, risks, issues and dependencies
• Hosting stakeholder meetings, workshops and working sessions
• Coordinating internal teams, vendors and other delivery partners
• Providing clear project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders
• Driving actions through to completion and ensuring delivery remains on track
• Supporting business readiness and the transition into the new environment

What We’re Looking For

D365 and retail experience are critical for this role.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong experience delivering technology projects within retail environments
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience delivering or supporting POS transformation or implementation projects
• Understanding of inventory and data migration
• Experience managing infrastructure initiatives such as server refreshes
• Strong end-to-end project management capability
• Ability to manage multiple interconnected workstreams and dependencies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Confidence facilitating meetings and workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive, delivery-focused approach — someone who takes ownership and keeps things moving

About You

You’re a personable, energetic and proactive Project Manager who enjoys working across the business rather than managing projects purely from behind a project plan.

You’re comfortable engaging with everyone from technical SMEs and vendors through to operational teams and senior leaders. You can facilitate a room, ask the right questions, resolve blockers and bring structure to complex technology initiatives.
