Senior Project Manager (Commercial Low Voltage Systems)
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Salary Range: $100,000–$130,000 + Performance-Based Bonus + Benefits
Bright Minds is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help launch and grow a commercial low-voltage operation in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. This role will oversee commercial low-voltage projects involving structured cabling, fiber optic infrastructure, network cabling, and related technology systems across commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and corporate environments.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects from kickoff through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, materials, subcontractors, and field execution to ensure successful delivery and profitability. You’ll work closely with clients, general contractors, electrical contractors, and a dedicated sales partner to develop relationships and expand market presence. You’ll also maintain full project financial accountability, manage change orders, and lead field teams while helping establish the operational foundation for a growing regional business. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial project leader looking for a clear path to an Operations Manager role as the market expands.
Requirements for the Senior Project Manager (Commercial Low Voltage Systems):
- 3-5+ years of project management experience in commercial low-voltage construction.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, financial performance, and full project P&L.
- Experience managing project portfolios with combined annual revenue of $500,000 or more.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, fiber optics, or network infrastructure.
- Established relationships within the Dallas–Fort Worth commercial construction market.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, procurement, subcontractors, field personnel, and project documentation.
- Experience with change orders, cost control, margin management, and client negotiations.
- Strong leadership and client relationship management skills, including the ability to resolve project issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, scopes of work, blueprints, bills of materials, and project schedules.
- Candidates who have owned or operated their own low-voltage contracting business are strongly preferred.
- PMP, BICSI, RCDD, or OSHA 30 certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $100,000–$130,000 base salary, depending on experience.
- Performance-based bonus opportunities.
- Vehicle allowance and cell phone allowance.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) with employer match.
- Paid time off and holidays.
- Long-term career growth with a clear path to Operations Manager as the DFW market expands.
