What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the successful delivery of large, complex projects and programmes from initiation through to completion.
• Drive project strategy, planning, execution, governance, and reporting across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to align project outcomes with strategic objectives.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.
• Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions that keep projects on track.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee project change management and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, lessons learned, and delivery excellence.
• Mentor and support Project Managers, helping to grow project management capability across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• 8+ years of project management experience within a software development or technology environment.
• 5+ years managing large-scale, complex projects or programmes.
• Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.
• Experience managing project budgets and engaging with senior executive stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing Project Managers and delivery teams.
• A strategic mindset combined with strong execution and delivery focus.
• Certifications such as PRINCE2, PgMP, MSP, SAFe, or PMI-ACP would be advantageous.
