Your Role And Responsibilities As a Senior Project Manager for Complex Projects, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of IBM's largest and most complex client commitments, ensuring the delivery of solutions for complex IT, business, and client requirements. You will lead a project team in delivering a solution to the client using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Lead Delivery Team: Manage and guide the delivery team to ensure successful project execution, interfacing with client project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
• Manage Project Scope: Oversee project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with service orders or contracts and making adjustments as needed to meet client requirements.
• Employ Project Management Techniques: Apply project management techniques such as the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery Model to drive solution delivery and ensure best practices.
• Ensure Technical Alignment: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with cloud technologies, including cloud migration, continuous modernization, and coexistence architecture.
• Interface with Clients: Serve as a primary point of contact for client project managers and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction with project delivery.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in project management, PMO leadership, or transformation delivery, with significant exposure to banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, products, regulatory requirements, and transformation initiatives across business and technology domains.
• Proven experience leading PMO functions for large-scale banking transformation programs, including governance, planning, budgeting, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Expertise in establishing and managing program governance frameworks, steering committees, RAID logs, milestone tracking, and performance dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid models, with the ability to apply them across complex banking environments.
• Experience in stakeholder management across senior leadership, business teams, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Strong financial and resource management capabilities, including budget tracking, forecasting, capacity planning, and benefits realization.
• Solid understanding of risk, compliance, audit, and control requirements within regulated banking environments.

Preferred Professional And Technical Expertise

• Proven ability to drive cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, and decision-making across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills, with the ability to provide concise updates to executives and governance forums.
• Experience in change management, organizational readiness, and supporting business adoption during transformation delivery.
• Familiarity with PMO tools and reporting platforms such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Clarity, ServiceNow, Power BI, or equivalent.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Complex Deal Negotiation: Deep expertise in negotiating large and complex deals, with the ability to navigate intricate contractual terms and conditions. Proven track record of successfully closing deals that meet client needs and drive business growth.
• Global Program Management: Experience with managing large-scale programs with global scope, requiring coordination across multiple regions and stakeholders. Skilled in navigating cultural and geographical nuances to ensure seamless program delivery.
• Advanced Risk Management: Deep understanding of advanced risk management techniques, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate complex risks associated with large-scale projects. Proven expertise in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
