Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to help deliver transport projects that make a real difference for Dunedin.

From project planning through to construction and completion, you'll lead the successful delivery of a range of transport infrastructure projects. You'll ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations.

Working with a variety of people both inside and outside Council, you'll use your project management expertise to turn plans into successful outcomes that benefit the community.

Ideally You Will Have

• Experience managing infrastructure, transport, civil, or other large-scale projects.
• The ability to lead projects from planning through to completion.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to identify risks and find practical solutions.
• Confidence building positive relationships with a wide range of people.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering great results.
• A relevant qualification in civil engineering, project management, construction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Salary Range - $114,906 to $135,184
