Senior Project Manager – Fund Accounting Change

Initial six-month contract | Flexible working arrangements | Some business travel

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead operational and technology change within financial services, with a particular focus on fund accounting processes.

This opportunity suits someone who combines detailed fund accounting knowledge with disciplined project delivery . You’ll work closely with business and technology teams to improve processes, reduce manual activity and deliver practical, controlled solutions.

The role

• Own delivery from requirements and planning through testing, implementation and operational handover.
• Challenge business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Establish clear governance, delivery plans, dependencies, risk management and change control.
• Coordinate operational specialists, technology teams and external delivery partners.
• Ensure solutions deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy and control.

What we’re looking for

• Strong project management experience within fund accounting or fund administration.
• Detailed understanding of fund accounting operations, including NAV production, reconciliations, valuations and associated controls.
• A proven record of delivering operational change and technology implementations through the full project lifecycle.
• Experience establishing governance and maintaining delivery discipline across multiple workstreams.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to challenge constructively across business and technical teams.

Experience delivering automation or workflow improvements within fund operations would be particularly valuable.
