Senior Project Manager – Modular Power Fabrication & Integration (Katy, TX)

Lucid Recruiting is partnering with a growing fabrication and integration company in the Katy area that designs and builds modular power distribution and power generation infrastructure for data centers, oil & gas, utilities, industrial, and chemical customers. With a portfolio of 40+ active projects and large programs shipping multiple fully integrated units per week, they’re adding a Senior Project Manager to own a portfolio of projects from award through delivery.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing seat for a proven PM, not a first PM role.

What you’ll do

• Own a portfolio of 5–7 concurrent projects, from single custom builds to multi-unit programs of 20–100 units
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and keep them confident throughout the build
• Coordinate across end users, general contractors, engineering firms, and distributors, many of whom have no direct line to one another
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, change orders, and shop priorities with engineering and production
• Handle customer documentation, certification, and submittal requests proactively and without escalation
• Lead project meetings so company leadership doesn’t have to
• Onboard alongside an experienced PM on live projects before taking on a full portfolio

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of project management experience in construction, industrial fabrication, modular/packaged equipment, switchgear/e-house, or a comparable build-to-spec environment
• Working knowledge of welding, structural fabrication, and electrical integration; you don’t need to be an electrician, but you need to understand what’s being built
• Demonstrated ability to manage demanding customers and multi-party projects with composure
• Strong command of schedules, cost tracking, and change management
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
