Senior Project Manager (Data Center)

The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the engineering lifecycle of our data center projects. This role requires a rare blend of technical mastery across multiple engineering disciplines and the leadership skills to manage complex projects across diverse geographical locations. You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are built to the highest standards of efficiency, redundancy, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data center construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
• MEP Integration: Provide expert oversight and coordination of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and Fire Protection systems (Wind/HVAC, Fire, Water, and Electrical) to ensure seamless integration.
• Design Review & Optimization: Review and optimize data center architectural and engineering designs. Knowledge of Tier standards and power/cooling efficiency is highly preferred.
• Project Tracking & Governance: Implement rigorous project tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate with regional teams and vendors across Asia to ensure standardized quality and compliance across all sites.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil).
• Professional Qualification: Registered Professional Engineer (RPE) or membership in HKIE will be an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of proven engineering experience, with a strong track record in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Domain Expertise: Direct experience in Data Center construction and operations is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of HVAC, Power Distribution, Fire Suppression, and Plumbing systems.
• Languages: Exceptional communication skills in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) to coordinate with global stakeholders.
• Competencies: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
