Senior Project Manager- Delivery and Release Management

Role Overview-

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex digital and eCommerce projects while providing strong release management leadership across the software delivery lifecycle.

This role combines project delivery excellence with technical release governance, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and deployed safely through development, test, pre-production and production environments. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, DevOps, infrastructure and third-party partners to drive high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities-

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects and programmes using Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall methodologies.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Provide clear reporting on project performance, milestones and delivery risks.
• Own release planning, scheduling and governance across multiple environments.
• Coordinate deployments and ensure release readiness across business and technical teams.
• Manage release risks, dependencies and communications.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps and Infrastructure teams to support efficient and reliable releases.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery, release and deployment processes.
• Support post-release reviews and implementation of lessons learned.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing software delivery projects within Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management practices.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and release governance.
• Ability to engage confidently with technical teams on topics such as environments, branching strategies, deployments and release risk.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Strong planning, organisational and financial management capabilities.
• Experience within digital and eCommerce environments is essential.
