Project Manager – Employee Benefits Strategy, Brussels, Belgium

About the role:

Our client is a leading company in the financial services and insurance sector, currently undergoing major digital transformation initiatives. As part of this, they are looking for a Project Manager to drive and implement their Employee Benefits (EB) strategy.

In this role, you will act as a key interface between business and IT, translating strategic objectives into actionable digital solutions and ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders.

Your responsibilities:

• Drive the Employee Benefits product strategy and translate it into a clear product roadmap

• Gather, analyze, and consolidate inputs from Sales, Product, and IT stakeholders

• Transform complex and sometimes unclear requirements into structured plans and actionable deliverables

• Lead end-to-end project planning, ensuring realistic timelines and alignment with business constraints

• Facilitate workshops and discussions to align stakeholders and build a shared vision (“one story, one plan”)

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog using Agile methodologies (Azure Boards)

• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation

• Contribute to the digitalization and innovation of employee benefits solutions

• Navigate and bring structure to complex and fast-evolving environments

Your profile:

• 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager/ Product Owner / Business Analyst

• Proven experience in financial services or insurance (mandatory)

• Experience in complex environments with multiple stakeholders

• Strong ability to structure, prioritize, and drive execution quickly

• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and “messy” environments

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bring people together and drive decisions

• Strong analytical mindset: able to turn insights into strategy and execution plans

• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Azure Boards)

• Employee Benefits knowledge is a plus (not mandatory)

Languages:

• Minimum 2 languages required:

• English (mandatory)

• French and/or Dutch

Additional information:

• Duration: 12 months (Extension possible)

• Start date: May 2026
