Senior Project Manager – Physical Security Systems

Overview We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to manage physical security projects supporting new data center construction. This role is a direct backfill and will carry responsibilities consistent with a standard SPM, spanning project design through equipment installation, vendor management, and project closeout.

The ideal candidate has strong project and vendor management experience, a background in physical security systems, and experience coordinating construction-related projects. They will oversee project specifications, drawings, code compliance, budgets, change orders, installation activities, and closeout documentation while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage physical security projects from initial design and planning through equipment installation and closeout.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support project execution and delivery.
• Review project specifications and drawings and ensure applicable code compliance requirements are addressed.
• Oversee physical security system installations, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor project budgets, manage change orders, and track project progress.
• Coordinate installation activities and resolve project issues to maintain delivery timelines.
• Maintain project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and closeout records.
• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously while maintaining project organization and visibility.
• Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and other project coordination activities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing projects and coordinating project delivery.
• Experience managing vendors and multiple project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, or intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to coordinate activities across project design, equipment installation, and closeout.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience working in a data center environment.
• Experience with physical security system installation.
• Experience managing projects in a construction environment.
