Lead a high-profile regulatory and fraud transformation program that will help strengthen trust, improve lending controls and support better outcomes for members.
If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity, influencing senior stakeholders and driving meaningful change, this is an opportunity to shape a significant program from the ground up. You'll join at the discovery stage, helping define the future direction of a multi-year initiative focused on mortgage and secured lending, including the broker channel.
 
Why the role matters
 
This role sits within TMBL's Risk & Regulatory portfolio and will lead a critical program responding to emerging regulatory requirements while strengthening fraud controls across lending operations.
You'll be responsible for establishing the foundations for success, including program scope, governance, delivery roadmap, business case development and stakeholder alignment. Working closely with executive sponsors, you'll play a key role in shaping a complex transformation that spans business, technology, data, engineering and infrastructure teams.

What you'll do

• Lead the initial 12-week discovery phase, defining scope, priorities and critical deliverables.
• Develop the program roadmap, high-level milestones and business case for approval.
• Establish appropriate governance, reporting, risk and issue management frameworks.
• Manage end to end delivery of the project
• Build strong partnerships with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple business and technology teams, managing dependencies, risks and competing priorities.
• Drive program delivery from discovery through implementation as the initiative evolves and expands.

What you'll bring
 
Essential

• 8-10 years' project or program management experience.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex risk and regulatory programs.
• Financial services or banking experience.
• Experience establishing new project or program teams
• Strong end-to-end delivery capability across large initiatives.
• Experience leading discovery phases, scope definition and business case development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and critical decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
• A track record of taking ownership and driving complex initiatives to successful outcomes.

Nice to have

• Mortgage or secured lending experience.
• Knowledge of broker lending channels.
• Fraud control, fraud prevention or financial crime program experience.
• Regulatory remediation experience.
• Experience establishing new project or program teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale, multi-stream transformation programs.
