Senior Purchasing Officer ( Electronics )

This Position Reports to: Purchasing Team Leader

Prime Function:

1. Work according to manager and management instruction.

2. Responsible for overall purchasing functions, particularly on the Direct and Indirect Material to ensure materials are purchased in the most economical manner with the on time delivery.

3.Interface with suppliers on the day to day job to ensure the material supply and no interruption on material support to production.

4.Work with sourcing to ensure that we place order to the right price, Minimum Quantity and lead time.

5.Work with Program Manger if require to review for cost analysis.

Responsibility :

1.Strictly follow the GPV Group Code of Conduct.

2.Ensure that you have been trained and strictly follow our safety rules and workplace.

3.Ensure compliance with the company’s management system, policies and rules.

4.Ensure that suppliers deliver according to agreement.

5.Ensure to purchase materials at right price, the right supplier, right quantities and on time delivery.

6.Ensure the material in-flow and deliveries to support production in appropriate time.

7.Responsible to work with Quality Control, Sourcing and suppliers to clear items that found quality issues.

8.Handle deviation parts together with Quality Control and Warehouse Department.

9.Interface with suppliers on the day by day job to ensure the material supply and no interruption on material support to production.

10.Do all activities to control inventory level with buyer team.

11.Responsible to clear the invoice pending issues.

12.Responsible to clear the shipment pending issues.

13.Works with all assignments from supervisor.

Authority : -

Qualification (Education/ Work experience/ Skill):

1. Bachelor degrees in any filed. Major in management or manufacturing are plus.

2.Good command in English, written and spoken skills.

3.Experience 4-5 years in Purchasing filed.

4.Good knowledge in computer skills.

5.Able work under pressure, proactive and logic thinking.

6.Good interpersonal skills and well done in teamwork.
