Senior Purchasing Staff (TOEIC 400 +)

About the role

Senior Purchasing Staff responsible for procurement, selection, and purchasing of goods and raw materials appropriate to company needs, considering cost, quality, service, and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct procurement, selection, and purchasing of goods and raw materials aligned with company requirements, considering cost, quality, service, and delivery schedules
• Search for and select new suppliers, and evaluate and develop vendors according to company policy and procedures
• Inquire and compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain appropriate costs, acceptable quality, and suitable delivery terms
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and track Order Confirmation from suppliers according to established procedures
• Prepare and send Request for Quotation (RFQ) to suppliers and negotiate to obtain competitive pricing
• Monitor purchase order status and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with plans
• Prepare and track Supplier Evaluation Reports according to specified timelines
• Record goods receipt data (Receiving Data) from invoices into company systems and programs
• Support and conduct Supplier Audits, and track corrective actions and improvements according to IATF 16949 requirements and related standards
• Prepare and update relevant documents to comply with IATF 16949, Customer Requirements, and company requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement
• Experience in Supplier Audit and Supplier Improvement
• Experience or knowledge in Cost Reduction Projects
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and Core Tools
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Skills in price negotiation and terms negotiation with suppliers
• Skills in evaluating, monitoring, and developing suppliers
• Skills in cost analysis and cost reduction
• Good English communication skills, or TOEIC score of 400 or above
