About the Role

Utsaha Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Python Lead Developer to drive the design and development of scalable SaaS applications in the Healthcare domain. This is a technical leadership role, and the ideal candidate should be capable of leading and mentoring the engineering team while collaborating closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Fluency in Tamil is mandatory, as the role involves leading and coordinating with Tamil-speaking team members and ensuring effective communication across the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers and drive technical excellence.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and manage secure REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Develop and support multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Ensure healthcare data privacy and compliance standards.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Good exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, etc.).
• Experience in building and maintaining SaaS-based applications.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and security principles.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on Healthcare / HealthTech projects.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards.
• Experience with serverless architecture.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
