Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python) About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our engineering team.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the entire technology stack, from backend services and APIs to frontend interfaces and cloud infrastructure.

You will take ownership of technical decisions throughout the software development lifecycle, from system architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization. This is an opportunity to contribute to engineering strategy, mentor other developers, and build reliable, secure, and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python-based backend frameworks and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend frameworks.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of features from conception through deployment and monitoring.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable, and performant code across the technology stack.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, schemas, and queries.
• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes across development, staging, and production environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve system observability and incident response.
• Optimize infrastructure costs, application performance, and security in collaboration with DevOps/SRE teams.
• Work closely with designers and QA engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical hiring.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Implement security best practices, including access control, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid frontend development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and/or GraphQL.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as pytest and Jest.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Cloud & Infrastructure Requirements

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPCs, load balancers, DNS, security groups, and reverse proxies.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or ELK/OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with secrets management and secure credential handling.
• Working knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
• Familiarity with messaging and streaming systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery, or Redis.
• Experience with serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda or GCP Cloud Functions.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
• Relevant cloud certifications.
• Experience designing highly available systems and disaster recovery strategies.
• Exposure to data-intensive applications, ML pipelines, or data engineering.
• Previous technical leadership or team lead experience.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
