Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Python Integration Engineer with practical experience in NetSuite integrations, backend automation, database management, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing systems while building reliable integrations and automated workflows across business applications.

This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, independent troubleshooting, and end-to-end ownership of delivery, testing, and documentation. Experience with supplier data processing, product matching, PDF/OCR extraction, and AI-assisted automation is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Python Development & Automation: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Python-based integrations, scripts, and automated workflows.
• NetSuite Integration: Support NetSuite integrations using REST APIs, RESTlets, and SuiteScript, ensuring reliable data exchange between systems.
• Database Management: Work with PostgreSQL and SQLite to manage data, develop queries, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data integrity.
• AWS & Linux Operations: Manage and troubleshoot applications and services running on AWS EC2 and RDS, with hands-on Linux administration experience.
• API Integration: Build, maintain, and debug REST API integrations, including authentication, data mapping, error handling, and synchronization.
• Supplier Data Processing: Automate supplier-data ingestion, normalization, validation, and product matching across multiple data sources.
• Document Processing: Implement and maintain PDF extraction and OCR workflows to capture and process structured information from documents.
• AI-Assisted Workflows: Integrate AI-powered tools into automation workflows, with appropriate validation, error handling, and quality controls to ensure reliable results.
• Troubleshooting & Testing: Inspect existing systems, independently diagnose technical issues, validate complete end-to-end workflows, and resolve integration failures.
• Documentation & Ownership: Take ownership of technical delivery, document system architecture and workflows, and maintain clear operational and troubleshooting documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python development, backend scripting, and process automation.
• Practical experience integrating and working with NetSuite.
• Experience with NetSuite REST APIs, RESTlets, and working knowledge of SuiteScript.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and/or SQLite, including SQL queries and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EC2 and RDS.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments, command-line operations, and application troubleshooting.
• Experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting REST APIs.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to test and validate complete workflows rather than individual components alone.
• Strong ownership of deliverables, technical documentation, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supplier-data ingestion, product catalog management, data normalization, and product matching.
• Familiarity with PDF parsing, OCR technologies, and automated document extraction.
• Experience incorporating AI or LLM-based tools into business process automation.
• Knowledge of data validation, exception handling, logging, and workflow monitoring.
• Experience maintaining existing integrations and improving their reliability and performance.
