The Role: Python Software Engineer

📍 Location: Lisbon

🏢🏠 Work Model: hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office

💰🏦 Sector: Financial Services

🗣️ Languages: English (C1)

✅ Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

🧑 Mandatory Requirements (Non‑Negotiable)

• 3+ years of professional experience developing software with Python ;
• Django, Flask or similar, RESTful APIs, integration patterns;
• Relational and/or NoSQL databases , distributed system concepts;
• Git , pull requests, code reviews, Agile/Scrum;
• CI/CD, Docker, infrastructure-as-code;
• Unit, integration and automated testing , cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure).

Nice to have:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
• Performance, observability, reliability, growth mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Python applications, write clean, well-tested and well-documented code, participate in code reviews;
• Integrate, test, debug and maintain software across development, staging and production environments, identify and address performance, scalability and security issues;
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers, contribute to technical design, development processes and technical documentation.
