Senior QA Engineer

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the efficient quality control system within the company quality management system and recommend improvements as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce quality issues and customer complaints.
• Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issue with internal and suppliers.
• Support customer complaints and provide technical investigation and corrective-action.
• Work closely with plating suppliers/vendors to improve process capability and quality performance through supplier’s meeting and supplier audits.
• Review plating bath/process parameters and coordinate with plating technicians or suppliers to maintain process control.
• Prepare quality reports, corrective-action reports and other quality documentation.
• Verify, dispose and endorse on the disposition of non-conforming parts.
• Perform internal quality system audit for ISO and relevant standards and line audit on the internal processes in company.
• Guide sub-ordinates in solving technical problem and assess their performance.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years working experience on the related position is required, preferable in metal finishing, surface treatment, machining or manufacturing.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and 14001 standard, ISO internal audit, FMEA, SPC, 8D Problem Solving, DMAIC and Control Plan.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with production, engineering and suppliers.
