Senior Qa Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end QA activities including test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, and release validation.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform API testing, including request/response validation, error handling, and integration flows.
• Perform database testing using SQL, including data validation, data integrity, and reconciliation.
• Validate banking workflows, transactions, integrations, and downstream/upstream systems.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution in collaboration with development and business teams.
• Provide testing status, defect metrics, risks, and quality updates to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 610 years of experience in QA/Software Testing.
• Strong understanding of the US Banking domain and banking processes.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing and Database Testing/SQL.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, Jira/Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with ACH, Wire, Payments, Core Banking, or other US banking platforms.
• Exposure to test automation and CI/CD.
