Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, UI automation, API testing, performance testing, database validation, and end-to-end application testing. The role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of our products.
Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement & Test Analysis: Analyze business and technical requirements and identify comprehensive test scenarios. Test Design: Create detailed test cases, test data, test scenarios, and acceptance coverage. Functional & Regression Testing: Execute functional, smoke, sanity, regression, retesting, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. Exploratory & Negative Testing: Identify edge cases, unexpected behaviors, and failure scenarios using exploratory and negative testing techniques. UI & Compatibility: Perform UI/UX, cross-browser, compatibility, and responsive application testing. Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence. Quality Ownership: Work with developers and product stakeholders throughout the SDLC to prevent defects and improve product quality.

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain UI automation tests using Playwright with JavaScript. Automate repetitive functional and regression scenarios. Execute automated suites, investigate failures, and improve automation coverage. Maintain existing automation scripts and contribute to reliable, maintainable test frameworks.

API Testing

• Perform REST API testing using Postman. Validate HTTP status codes, request/response payloads, data integrity, authentication/authorization, and error handling. Perform positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case API testing. Validate consistency between frontend behavior, API responses, and backend data.

Performance Testing

• Perform load and performance testing using JMeter. Create and execute performance test scenarios. Analyze response time, throughput, error rates, and system behavior under load. Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Engineering. Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and test methodologies. Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript. Experience with API testing using Postman. Knowledge of SQL and database testing. Experience with JIRA or similar defect-management tools. Basic to intermediate experience with JMeter / Performance Testing. Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle. Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Good analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
