We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Execute various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured and validate backend services.
• Conduct database testing using SQL queries to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar defect tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure quality closure.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to QA best practices and standards.
• Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner when required.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and share detailed test reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates with stakeholders.
