Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers to design test strategies, automate testing, identify defects early, and improve our software delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers during feature development.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Review requirements and provide quality-related feedback before implementation.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Test RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Validate database records using SQL.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.
• Perform performance and load testing when required.
• Ensure mobile applications work correctly across Android and iOS devices.
• Improve QA processes, standards, and testing documentation.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.
• Assist in release validation and production verification.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong knowledge of:

Manual Testing

Test Case Design

Regression Testing

Smoke Testing

Exploratory Testing

UAT Support

• Experience with API testing tools such as:

Postman

I nsomnia

• Strong SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with test automation using:

Cypress

Selenium

• Experience with performance testing tools: (J Meter , K6)
