Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing of retail digital applications across mobile, web, and backend/API services. The ideal candidate will have experience validating end-to-end retail workflows, global applications across multiple regions and languages, and automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of retail digital applications across web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Validate REST APIs, backend services, integrations, and data flows.
• Test applications across multiple regions, countries, languages, devices, and browsers.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and release validation testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support deployment readiness.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and distributed teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other SDLC activities.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end retail workflows and retail digital operations.
• Experience with manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in at least one automation framework: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.
• Experience with REST API and backend testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Experience testing mobile and web applications.
• Experience with global applications, localization, or internationalization testing across multiple regions and languages.
• Knowledge of regression testing, defect management, and release validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
