Amba Township Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance systems, conducting inspections, managing testing activities, and maintaining quality documentation across construction projects and run entire QA-QC Lab .

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Compliance

· Implement and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and quality procedures.

· Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards.

· Conduct quality audits and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

· Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.

Site Quality Control

· Perform routine inspections and stage-wise quality checks at project sites.

· Monitor construction activities including excavation, reinforcement, and shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.

· Verify workmanship and ensure compliance with approved standards.

· Coordinate with site teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Material & Concrete Quality Management

· Inspect incoming construction materials and verify compliance with specifications.

· Review Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and approval documents.

· Coordinate concrete quality control activities including slump tests, cube sampling, and curing inspections.

· Monitor RMC production quality, batching processes, and mix design approvals.

Testing & Documentation

· Coordinate material testing through site laboratories and third-party testing agencies.

· Maintain inspection reports, test records, checklists, and quality documentation.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

· Ensure proper record keeping and traceability of materials and test results.

Coordination & Improvement

· Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors.

· Provide technical support regarding quality standards and best practices.

· Conduct quality awareness sessions and toolbox talks for site personnel.

· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes.

Qualifications

· Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

· QA/QC certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

· 5 to 7 years of experience in QA/QC for construction, real estate, infrastructure and high rise buildings.

· Experience in material testing, concrete quality control, and site inspections preferred.

Skills Required

✔ Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and IS Codes.
✔ Experience with concrete and material testing procedures.
✔ Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
✔ Strong documentation and reporting skills.
✔ Good communication and coordination abilities.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems.
