Senior QC Chemist Raw Material Testing

Job highlights

• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as pH meters,viscometers,and moisture analyzers

• Proficiency in ERP and MS Excel

• Experience in COA verification and vendor qualification

• Perform and supervise raw material testing according to approved specifications.

• Conduct physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of incoming raw materials.

• Review and verify Certificate of Analysis (COA) documents.

• Approve or reject raw materials based on QC evaluation.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.

• Maintain accurate QC documentation and laboratory records.

• Handle retention and stability samples.

• Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and coordinate with QA, R&D, Purchase, and Production teams.

• Support internal audits and regulatory inspections, train and guide junior QC team members, and ensure timely release of raw materials to meet production schedules.

Job Requirements

• Strong expertise in raw material testing in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as pH meters, viscometers, and moisture analyzers.
• Experience in COA verification and vendor qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in ERP and MS Excel.
• Educational Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry), B.Pharma.
