Senior QS Manager - Property Developer

**Client:**Our client is a reputable developer with a diversified portfolio of projects across Hong Kong, China and overseas. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quantity surveying department, providing guidance, technical support, and performance review.
• Prepare and oversee cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for development projects.
• Monitor project costs and undertake cost control, value engineering, and risk management strategies.
• Administer contracts, including tendering, procurements, valuation of variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Liaise effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement, contractual, and construction processes.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong building regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Provide timely financial and progress reports, highlighting any cost overruns or contractual issues.
• Assist in the negotiation and award of subcontracts and consultancy services.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assist in project planning and development stages.
• Implement and improve cost management procedures and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience with Hong Kong property development projects is preferred.
• Professional membership (e.g., HKIS, RICS, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge in contract law and Hong Kong building regulations.
• Proficient with industry-standard QS software and MS Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
