Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead automated testing initiatives supporting critical loan servicing applications in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can shape enterprise test automation practices, partner across technical and business teams, and improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle. The role focuses on building scalable automation approaches, strengthening release confidence, and delivering measurable improvements in testing efficiency and coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and expansion of automated testing solutions for high-priority loan servicing platforms, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and business impact.

• Establish a practical automation roadmap by selecting suitable tools, defining standards, and aligning testing efforts with broader software delivery objectives.

• Develop meaningful performance indicators for automation programs, track outcomes over time, and communicate progress and value to leadership.

• Create and maintain structured automation suites such as smoke, sanity, and regression coverage while improving traceability, reuse, and defect reporting practices.

• Define approaches for test data preparation, environment stability, and integration of automated execution within CI/CD and DevOps workflows.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to prioritize automation opportunities and recommend process enhancements.

• Support teams in embedding automated testing within sprint activities and across all stages of the software development life cycle.

• Build expertise in the organization’s automation ecosystem and apply proven techniques, frameworks, and best practices to strengthen delivery quality.

• Estimate automation effort, timelines, and resource needs to support dependable planning and successful project execution.

• Demonstrated experience leading software quality assurance and test automation initiatives in complex application environments.

• Hands-on knowledge of automation frameworks, including Selenium-based solutions, behavior-driven testing, test-driven development, and other modern approaches.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript; exposure to C# or Ruby is a plus.

• Experience with scripting tools such as Bash or PowerShell to support automation execution and environment management.

• Familiarity with testing tools across web, mobile, and performance domains, including technologies such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or comparable platforms.

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, or similar systems.

• Experience using defect management and work tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

• Strong collaboration, reporting, and process improvement skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
