(Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer (AI Platform)

About AI Platform

We are developing a shared AI platform for the business units of a multi-industry group in Vietnam. The platform runs on Kubernetes with LangGraph, FastAPI, and AWS Bedrock, using LangFuse for observability, and enables business teams to build and operate their own AI agents: attaching tools, loading internal documents, and orchestrating multiple agents that work together.

About the Role

The QE owns the quality of the platform itself : functional testing, API validation, data verification, building the test design, test cases, test scripts, and reporting that give the team confidence to ship. This is distinct from the AI Tester role, which focuses on AI/prompt/UX behaviour rather than platform functionality.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare test design and test plan for features and releases.
• Prepare test environment, test data, and tools/devices required for functional testing.
• Prepare Test Report Summaries with clear pass/fail status and outstanding risks.
• Write test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
• Validate APIs: REST/OpenAPI, request/response contracts, error paths and authorization paths.
• Query and verify data directly (SQL / BI tooling); apply basic data-analytic checks to confirm correctness, not just UI display.
• Review unit test results for both functional and data-related tests.
• Execute functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and performance testing.
• Participate from refinement onward: review acceptance criteria and flag edge cases before development starts.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3-5 years in QA/QC for web/app products, including hands-on experience validating APIs.
• Test automation experience (e.g., Python/pytest, Playwright, or equivalent).
• Comfortable writing SQL queries to verify data independently.
• Able to write clear, reusable test scenarios/cases/scripts from a spec (FSD/acceptance criteria) without needing constant clarification.
• Experience running functional test cycles and SIT; exposure to performance testing.
• Good English for reading technical documentation.
