Senior Quality Engineer

Position Function：

1)    Responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process.

2)    Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and drive overall quality excellence.

3)    This role requires a strong understanding of quality management principles, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

4)    Ensuring that our organization receives high-quality components and materials from suppliers.

5)    Works closely with suppliers to establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Responsibilities：

1）  Perform quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

2）  Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

3）  Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

4）  Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, work instructions, and inspection procedures.

5）  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

6）  Participate in new product development activities, including design reviews, process validations, and risk assessments.

7）  Supplier Evaluation and Selection:

• Assess potential suppliers based on their quality management systems, manufacturing capabilities, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct on-site audits and evaluations to determine supplier suitability and adherence to quality standards

8）  Supplier Quality Management:

• Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements (SQAs) outlining quality expectations, inspection criteria, and performance metrics.
• Monitor supplier performance through regular audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.

9）  Establish incoming inspection criteria and procedures for incoming materials and components.

• Coordinate with receiving inspection teams to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements and specifications.
• Implement material verification processes to confirm material authenticity and traceability.
• Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements (SQAs) outlining quality expectations, inspection criteria, and performance metrics.
• Monitor supplier performance through regular audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.

10）      Ensure supplier compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements, such as ISO 9001, and IATF 16949. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting supplier quality management practices.

Position Qualification：

1)    Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

2)    Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., 8D, Control Plan，MSA).

3)    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.

4)    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

5)    Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

6)    Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

7)    Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to quality management.
